The Pla de Bages is a privileged area, located in the middle of mythical formations like Montserrat Mountains. Within a Mediterranean continental climate of half mountain, Bages has ideal conditions for growing exceptional microclimate and wine: a scant rainfall and strong thermal oscillation.
The variety of grape from the region, is the Picapoll grape, which gives a fruity white wine, fresh aroma, their splendid texture and personality. This grape has become a symbol of identity of the Bages as it is the only place in Spain where it is cultivated this precious variety. As regards to the black grapes, are also recovering local varieties Picapoll Negro, Sumoll and Mandó, which help to consolidate the particular profile of the area.
